Presented to mark the bicentenary of Goya’s (1746-1828) arrival in Bordeaux, where the artist spent the last four years of his life in self-exile for political reasons, this exhibition of approximately twenty works presents the entire collection of prints by the Spanish master conserved at the museum: four etchings on the subject of bullfighting made in Bordeaux, including the only print of Bullfight, and a series of ten older etchings made after masterpieces by Velázquez, now on display in the Prado museum: equestrian portrai
